Come and learn about marine life at Jennycliff beach near Plymouth! We will be carrying out a survey of the rocky shore which will include native and non-native or invasive species! We will also be doing a beach clean. The data that we collect will be used by the Marine Biological Association to monitor important species and change on our rocky shores.

See http://www.marlin.ac.uk/shore_thing/ for more information about Shore Thing.

Acorn collection and planting to produce new oak trees!

We had a great time out with Moor Trees at their nursery collecting acorns and then planting them in their beds. We can't wait for them to grow and then plant them out in a few years!

Wow Hayley! You have collected a lot of acorns!!! ...Or did you have some help?? ;-)
