Saturday 12th November: PEA will be going out with the Dartmoor Preservation Association again on the Devonport Leat. Hopefully it will be another lovely sunny day!
.

Leat Restoration with the DPA (5.11.11)

Seeing it was Bonfire Night, we thought we would have some themed 'firework' fairy cakes.... with tea, of course
Not forgetting the important H&S and tools talk before we start working...
Cutting and sorting the vegetation encroaching on the leat:
The 'Yellow Brain' fungus is spotted amongst the gorse...
We stop for a well deserved luch break :D
Then just a little bit more work and all of a sudden...it appears!! There it is! The Leat!!!
